EEK & Friends

EEK was established in July 2005 by Sue Marabito and Erica Sandoval.We are both mothers of a child with a disability. Sue's son Joey has Down Syndrome and Erica's daughter Unity has Autism.We are also both certified in physical training for adults and children.

  Our mission is to provide the latest in exercise science through play, socialization, fitness equipment, games and nutrition to help bring children and adults with a special or mental challenge into optimum condition within their abilities.The focus is slightly different with the various degrees of disability, for example: Down Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, etc. EEK will work with any child or adult with challenges.  We seek to better the world of these individuals by helping them reach their full potential. We have established a fun environment that will give the participants of EEK the desire for lifelong physical activity and increased self-esteem; along with presenting an understanding with the parents and/or caregivers of the need of physical fitness to the community as partners in this endeavor.
